Sirloin tip is found at the top of the short loin - the same section as the round cuts. This section is lean and low in fat, which means it is not the steak tender.
However, located at the tip, which is the fattiest part, making it the most tender among round steaks. We slow cook this cut for baked steak or mushroom gravy steak in the crock pot.
